Baggage

01. Pay attention to the following for packing
For a safe journey, pack your bag as small as you can. Carry a small carry-on in the airplane. Display name tags showing your name and address and destination in English inside and outside of the luggage .
02. The size and weight of non charge baggage
It should not excess the limit of size and weight mentioned by the airline, contents should be protected properly by the owner at the owner's risk. Special goods, including sport equipments like bicycle and surfing board and pets, should be reported to the airline in advance, and they are recommended to be loaded on board in no hurry on the day of flight.
03. The size and weight of carry-on luggage
Any potential weaponry , like multipurpose knives, fruit knives, scissors, nail clippers, golf clubs, etc, are not allowed to be carried into the airplane so they should be sent with your baggage or consigned to airline staff at the check-in counter. Combustible or explosive goods, like large quantities of cigarette lighter fluid, paint, butane gas, burner, etc. are forbidden to transport by plane. You are not allowed to send fragile goods like pottery, electrical appliances, glass bottles and picture frames, perishables like foods, liquids, and smelly goods as the baggage.
04. Safekeeping of hand luggage
Expensive good like Laptop computers, camcoders, cameras, jewelery, antiques, etc. should be carried by the owner. With them, cash, securities, contract documents, dissertations and medicines will not be compensated by the airport or airlines if lost.
05. Forbidden goods on board
the followings are the maximum size, weight, and quantity of baggage or hand luggage which travellers can carry or send. Generally, quantity is the standard in the American continent, and Southeast Asia, EU, and other areas except the American continent set the limit of parcels on the base of weight. Travellers are recommended to check their travelling section and boarding class.

Consigned Baggages are loaded up to the air plane by person with airport baggage facilities. So, one baggage should be under 32kg of weight regardless of boarding class or payment of the excess baggage charge, and those baggages can be rejected.

Additional allowance goods of economy class: One among a laptop computer, a briefcase, a handbag, etc. Instruments under 115cm of size like violin. Huge instruments like a cello, a double bass, a Korean lute, etc., whose owner should buy a seat for the instrument.
By the strengthened security reason, travellers can carry only one baggage and one additional allowance in the airplane from USA and in the USA domestic line in transit, regardless boarding class.
All hand luggage should be put in the rack or under the seat. Passengers sitting next to the emergency exit should put their luggage in the rack.
Pets should be in the cage and put under the passenger's front seat. The cage cannot be put next to the emergency exit or in the passageway.
Please be careful not to get hurt while putting luggages in and getting down them from the rack. Please check you belongings again not to leave anything behind you when getting off an airplane.
The followings are forbidden on board. If you violate this, you can be punished by the section 44 of the law about the aviation safety and security
  • igniting and inflammable goods.
    ex) large quantities of lighter, match, friction match, lighter liquid, paint, thinner, and camping equipments like petrol burner and lamp
  • high pressure cylinders.
    ex) butane gas, various sprayers, air cylinder for scuba diving, and oxygen cylinder
  • weaponry and explosives.
    ex) small arms, swords, fire crackers, bulletins, gunpowder, tear gas for self-protection, etc.
  • others: toxic chemicals, corrosive materials, radioactive materials, magnetic materials, noxious materials, and stimulative materials.
  • personal cosmetic goods(perfume, hair sprayer, aerosol): allowed to carry in by the limit of under 0.5 litre(kg) per container and 2 pieces per person.
  • one lighter or match possessed by passenger is allowed to carry in
  • dry ice in the container: under 2 kg is allowed with the permission by the airline.
  • medical small air cylinder, clinical thermometers, and thermometers: allowed with the permission by the airline.
